Creation-Inspired Retirement Community in Charlotte
The retirement years are a time to treasure, spending days in a relaxing environment surrounded by others who have navigated life with the same moral compass that guided your own. Carmel Hills, a retirement community for Christians, offers such a place. Since 1980, retirees have called Carmel Hills home. Our beautiful grounds encompass 15 wooded acres in Charlotte. Sit on the covered porch socializing with others while gazing across the lake, or meander on the gentle walking trails in the woods.
The beauty and size of the Carmel Hills campus is only exceeded by the hearts of the folks who live here. Residents genuinely enjoy and care about each other. Due to the size of our population (average of 50 independent and 30 assisted living residents), residents are well known to our staff and to each other. Unlike the many “big box” dormitory style communities popping up all over, residents are able to feel at right at home Carmel Hills.
Quality Care for Retirees
As a full-service retirement community, Carmel Hills offers different housing options. Those who don’t require help with daily activities may live in one of our duplexes near our lake or one of our apartments. We offer a variety of sizes and floor plans to choose from.
Our Assisted Living is staffed 24/7 with capable and courteous professionals. They help residents who want to remain as independent as possible but who do require some activities of daily living services such as dressing, bathing, and medication management. Hospice services are also available. There is no worry about quality care or comfort here – our assisted living facility earned a four-star Adult Care Rating from the state of North Carolina. Four starts is the highest rating given.
Regardless of whether they live in our independent apartments, duplexes, or in our assisted living, residents of Carmel Hills enjoy an enriching schedule that includes spiritual activities, gardening, crafts, exercise classes, games, shopping trips and movie nights.
