The purpose of the Carmel Hills Assisted Living is to provide a rest-home level of care in a Christian atmosphere for people of retirement age who need assistance with their activities of daily living.
In accordance with our goal, we offer assistance with daily living. We provide the following environment, amenities and services, all of which are included in the monthly cost-of-care fee:
The Assisted Living area includes 25 furnished rooms, each with attached bath, a community meeting room, a glass-enclosed Florida room overlooking the lake and woods, a large hospital-style bathroom, small kitchen with refrigerator (which residents may use for small items), a nurses’ station, hair salon and laundry facilities.
The community is designed to provide residents with the safety, conveniences, and comforts of home while attending to their individual needs. Although each room can be furnished by Carmel Hills, residents are encouraged to personalize their room by bringing their own furnishing, as long as there is no interference with the ability of the staff to provide care and no disturbance to other residents.
We work to continuously improve our services to our residents. Every aspect of the Assisted Living is designed to be resident-friendly, and our desire is for residents to feel at home and to be “at home.”
It is the goal of our Assisted Living staff to provide our residents with not only a comfortable place to live, but to provide them with the encouragement and resources to continue a productive and fulfilled life. In addition to organized activities, the residents are encouraged to continue those things they were involved with prior to moving to Carmel Hills. We also welcome and encourage family and friends to come and visit. We want our residents to remain as active as they can or want to be.
